Committed to molding leaders who are all women of color, Bennett Women’s College – a small, private, women’s only, liberal arts college in Greensboro, North Carolina was founded in 1873 to educate freedmen and train both men and women to become teachers. In 1926 it became a women’s college, offering sisterhood, love, community and an overwhelming sense of self-worth.

Target 4: The Arts! and Target 3 Building Your Economic Legacy Presents: "A Salute to Artists of the Harlem Renaissance"

Please join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Chi Omega Omega Chapter and the Imani Pearls Community Development Foundation as we close Black History Month by highlighting and paying homage to artists of the Harlem Renaissance. The featured artists emerged during the period, using artistry as a platform to tackle social issues, cultivate black culture and to stimulate the black economic dollar.
